#Amazon is coming.

This is a normal news for people who live in Australia but it is a big deal for Australian retailers, such as JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman. Australia has been a target market for many international companies. I still remember the day of opening of H&M and Uniqlo, and many Australians waited in lines. These international companies expand very fast and become part of local people’s life with years.

It is not a bad thing for customers as those big companies bring the low price and better services. However, for local retailers, they face more intensive competition. Generally, these international companies have some distinct advantages and that is the reason why it is large and become international players.

For amazon, its low price and convinent delivery service are out of its competitors. In China, this case has been shown since few years ago. This is a famous bet between Jet Ma, the founder of Alibaba, and Jianlin Wang who is the director of Wanda. Their bet is about whether online shopping will exceed real store shopping in 2020. We have seen the growing of Alibaba and Taobao, and the change it brings to Chinese people’s life. I still can not forget the scene of hundreds of parcels on the ground of the office in my university.

Online shopping is becoming part of daily life, and it can not be denied. I believe the coming of Amazon may give a change in Australia retail industry. Australian delivery system is disadvanced in some kind, due to less people and far distance. Amazon has its own development experience and fund to develop the logistic and delivery system.

Those retailers should also realise the importance of the online shopping. However, I think shopping centre is a place that people can social and meet together. If the store can provide high quality shopping and social experience, they still can attract customers. Although online shopping is easy and convinent, we, as human bings, need social time and place.

This is the first post in 2017 on my blog.

I feel sorry to leave this place so long. In those past four months, there were many things happened. Some are good, some are bad.

I still feel a little bit confused about my future and life. I have some doubts haven’t been solved. And I believed that those questions can only be answered by the time.

The good thing is that I come back and do not give up on this blog. I think it is a good way to improve my english writing and document some part of my life.

Time management is important in modern days, and only those people can manage their time can live a high quality time.

Rejection can be a serious potential threat and makes me afraid.
